Peru extended its vaccination effort tackling polio and measles until August 15. Targeting 12 of its 24 regions as well as the constitutional province of Callao, the campaign (focused on children under 5) was originally slated to end July 31. In July, over 1 million doses of polio and measles vaccines were administered to children ages 2 months to 5 years. Around 15,000 vaccination teams continued the effort by going house to house and to schools, parks, malls and other locations frequented by families.
