Pakistan ran a five-day nationwide, door-to-door polio campaign December 16-20, vaccinating 43.9 million children under 5 with the oral vaccine. According to a December 29 update, the country polio program is now “back on track.” The drive was extended with catch-up activities on December 21 and 22 in Karachi, Peshawar, Khyber, Quetta, Pishin and Killa Abdullah.
