Niger has recently implemented reactive vaccination campaigns against meningitis in response to an ongoing outbreak. In the health districts of Dungass, Gouré, Matamèye, and Mirriah, the campaign targeted people ages 2 to 29 with the trivalent ACW meningococcal polysaccharide vaccine, reaching 99.8% coverage.
