UNICEF announced July 2019 that it has helped Uganda procure more than 20 million doses of measles-rubella vaccines for an upcoming national campaign to take place September 25 to 29. According to the press release, 62 districts in the country are currently experiencing a measles outbreak, while 25 have been affected by rubella. UNICEF
