July 2022: Afghanistan begins 6th round of polio vaccination

Afghanistan launched a three-day polio vaccination campaign on July 25. Targeting 6.7 million children under age 5, the initiative encompasses 248 districts in the southern, southeastern, eastern, northern, western and central provinces, as well as in provinces and districts where campaigns aren’t feasible during winter.
