Cameroon to distribute 15 million bed nets: The Cameroon government will launch a campaign to distribute insecticide-treated mosquito bed nets in the country, media reported this month.
Under the slogan “treated mosquito bed nets for the entire family, every night,” the government will distribute 15 million bed nets across the country using a phased campaign throughout 2019.
The first phase will see nets distributed in east, south, and 13 health districts in the Littoral region from March 27 to March 31; the second phase in Adamawa, far north and north regions in May; and the third phase will start in September in center, northwest, southwest and 11 district hospitals in the Littoral region.
