March 2020: Nigeria immunizes 12 million against yellow fever

Nigeria is immunizing nearly 12 million people against yellow fever in a preventive mass vaccination campaign. The first phase ran February 28–March 8 in Rivers State, where it reached 3.4 million of the 6.8 million targeted in the region. The region’s second phase ran March 13–23, and a subsequent round in the neighboring state of Anambra begins in April. The Anambra round will include MenA vaccination. WHOWHO
