November 2021: Pakistan kicks off nationwide effort to vaccinate 90M against measles

Pakistan kicked off a nationwide effort to vaccinate more than 90 million children against measles and rubella on November 12. During the “historic” two-week campaign—one of the largest in the world to date—more than 386,000 health professionals, including 76,000 vaccinators and more than 143,000 social mobilizers, will administer vaccines to children ages 9 months-15 years in health facilities, outreach centers, and schools.
