Uganda’s Karamoja region started its seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) effort on October 26, targeting 270,000 children under age 5 in eight districts (Abim, Amudat, Karenga, Kotido, Moroto, Nabilatuk, Nakapiripit and Napak).
