The Economics of Integration of Immunization and Primary Health Care Services in Low-and-Middle-Income-Countries

This paper addresses the economics of integration of immunization and primary health care services in LMICs. The methods included a literature review and expert consultations. Key questions asked included:

  • What are metrics that could be used for evaluation of the economics of integration?
  • What are the important questions on the economics of integration that still need to be addressed?  What evidence needs to be collected?
  • Are there likely opportunities to evaluate questions of the economics and costs of integration? Are there promising examples of integration that could be studied from an economic perspective?
