Kyrgyzstan ran a measles outbreak response campaign September 18-29, targeting all children ages 9 months to 7 years in designated areas, regardless of vaccination status or previous measles or rubella disease. Vaccinations were given at temporary vaccination points in health centers and schools in Bishkek and Osh cities as well as in the Osh and Chüy regions, areas where measles is widespread.
