Tanzania conducted a polio vaccination effort September 21-24 in six regions bordering countries with a reported polio outbreak, according to a Ministry of Health press release. The campaign aimed to reach more than 3.2 million children under age 8 in the following regions: Kagera (729,387), Katavi (227,862), Kigoma (884,477), Mbeya (614,346), Rukwa (391,883) and Songwe (402,643).
