Senior Associate Director, Global Health Policy

 

Ihesinachi “Chi Chi” Amadi is the Senior Associate Director, Global Health Policy for Health Campaign Effectiveness at The Task Force for Global Health in Georgia, United States. In this role, Chi Chi leads the finance and policy workstream for the Coalition and provides thought leadership, technical support, and strategic guidance to focus countries in the implementation of country-tailored and context-specific Collaborative Action Strategy (CAS). Chi Chi joined the Task Force in February 2024 after 11 years with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), where she supported the government of Nigeria and CHAI program teams in Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda with health system strengthening initiatives in immunization and reproductive health.

Chi Chi worked with CHAI Nigeria’s Vaccines team as a cold chain logistics specialist, contributing to the introduction of new vaccines into the country’s Expanded Program on Immunization schedule and playing a key role in managing Nigeria’s cold chain inventory. She later transitioned to the Global Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) team, supporting the development and deployment of Family Planning Dashboards in Kenya, Tanzania, and Nigeria. Chi Chi also helped re-establish CHAI’s presence in Ghana through the SRH program and provided technical assistance for new product introductions. Ms. Amadi holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Georgetown University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University.
