In its Campaign Effectiveness Landscape and Case for Action document, the Camber Collective defines coverage as “time-bound, intermittent activities which are deployed to address specific epidemiologic challenges, expediently fill delivery gaps, or provide surge coverage for health interventions. They can be used to respond to disease outbreaks, eliminate targeted diseases as a public health problem, eradicate disease altogether, or achieve other health goals.” The document provided a number of key definitions and an overview of campaigns as a delivery method for global health. It discussed how and where health campaign are utilized, their overall effectiveness, and challenges and opportunities encountered. The document synthesized a number of inputs, including contributions from the Task Force for Global Health. The Camber collective is a group of strategy consultants concerned with generating systemic, sustainable solutions to pressing issues. Global health is one of their main domains of interest.
