Njara Rakotonirina, MSc, MBA

Njara Rakotonirina is currently the Project Director of Global Fund Programs with Catholic Relief Services in the Republic of Congo. Njara has a solid experience in designing and implementing large public health programs in sub-Saharan Africa. Njara demonstrated success in managing and supporting programs funded by major donors USAID/PMI, Global Fund, and DFID, both at Headquarters, Regional and Country level, and within major health areas: Malaria, WASH, Child Survival, HIV/AIDS, Family Planning, and Social Franchising.  

Njara Rakotonirina has over 15 years specific experience of campaigns implementation, including technical support for 8 USAID/PMI focus countries, and serving as Lead person for USAID/PMI’s LLINs programs in Madagascar and Benin, for Global Fund LLINs mass campaigns program in Madagascar, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Republic of Congo, for developing successful Global Fund LLINs proposals in Madagascar & in Burundi, and for providing technical assistance on LLINs campaigns programs and other health programs to Mali, Haiti, and Guinea.
