From speaker Andrei Chell: This study aims to provide an overview of experiences with conducting integrated health campaigns in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Region related to three (3) NIDs — soil-transmitted helminthiases (STH), trachoma and lymphatic filariasis (LF). A landscape analysis was conducted using a literature review and interviews with regional stakeholders at the Pan American Health Organization, and highlights the experiences of governments in Colombia, Guyana, and Honduras as these countries implemented integrated campaigns for at least two NIDs and other public health interventions, such as vaccination.
