Evaluating the Impact of IRS and ITNs: Lessons from PMI VectorLink

August 1 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EDT

With the introduction of new indoor residual spraying (IRS) and insecticide-treated net (ITN) products, national malaria programs (NMPs) increasingly need to make data-driven, subnational decisions. Since September 2017, the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) VectorLink Project has focused on integrated data analytics, visualization, and evaluation to help inform vector control decisions and strategies in partnership with NMPs.

This webinar will synthesize key results from the evaluations completed under PMI VectorLink, explore how these results were used for decision-making, and highlight areas for future vector control evaluation. We will take a deep dive into two evaluations: the impact of clothianidin-based IRS in Côte d’Ivoire and the impact of IG2 ITNs in Mali.
