Glossary Term: Coverage

A proportion (%) that reflects the number of people receiving (an) intervention(s) divided by the total number of people eligible to receive the intervention(s).

 



In its Campaign Effectiveness Landscape and Case for Action document, the Camber Collective defines coverage as
“a proportion (%) that reflects the number of people receiving (an) intervention(s) divided by the total number of people eligible to receive the intervention(s).” The document provided a number of key definitions and an overview of campaigns as a delivery method for global health. It discussed how and where health campaign are utilized, their overall effectiveness, and challenges and opportunities encountered. The document synthesized a number of inputs, including contributions from the Task Force for Global Health. The Camber collective is a group of strategy consultants concerned with generating systemic, sustainable solutions to pressing issues. Global health is one of their main domains of interest.
