Sara Sá Silva, PhD, MScPH is currently a Senior Programme Manager, Measles and Rubella Vaccine at the GAVI Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, a position occupied since 2016. Previously, Dr. Silva worked as a Vaccine Programme Manager, Pneumococcal Vaccine at the GAVI Secretariat in Geneva Switzerland from 2014-2016. Dr. Sá Silva holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Imperial College London, a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Milano-Biocca in Milan, Italy.
