Botswana carried out its second albendazole mass drug administration event from February 25 to March 1 to deworm school-aged children and stop the transmission of soil-transmitted helminths. The country also provided students with health exams along with booster diphtheria-tetanus shots and oral polio drops for first-grade students and tetanus toxoid vaccines for seventh-grade students.
